So basically yea I just woke up yesterday morning to take my lil sis to school ,I was getting ready so she stayed down stairs cause she wanted to watch pepper pig or something. Then she called me saying the tv aint working. And it was working cause the smart hub plus was lighting green . But its usually blue ,I thought it was gonna fix it self but no I dropped my lil sis and came still no connection. I decided to go to ee physically and tell them the issue and ee tells me they will send someone in 3 weeks time. EE tell me what will I be using for the past 3 week huh this is a sign to switch cause I never had someone complaining their wifi from 02 or three .Ee fix up big time cause after you fix my wifi am packing my bags to leave ee I have had enough thank you .
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi @Kolaflager
Welcome to the community.
I'm sorry to hear that you have had some problems with your broadband. I suggest going through to troubleshooting steps here on this 'Fix An EE Broadband Connection Problem' help page.
If you're still having the same problem, hopefully the engineer can get it working when they come to have a look.
Please keep us updated with what happens.
Thanks
Chris

@Kolaflager : Sounds like the router is faulty. Solid green just means it's starting up & should only last a few secs before going to flashing orange. Instead of sending a person in 3 weeks they should have suggested sending a replacement router which would only take a few days.
For such a long wait for sending someone, did they not suggest sending a mobile router with data to tide you over in the meantime?

Hi @Kolaflager
Tried turning the router off for 10 seconds and back on again. Simple yes but sometimes works.
Thanks

@Kolaflager You say you went to EE, so I take it you went to a EE store. All the store can do is arrange an engineer. If you had called EE customer support they can actually remotely do some diagnostics on this and if a new router is required one would have been sent to you. You’ve not helped yourself to get this resolved.

The store told us the same thing you are saying and yes we did call 150 and the only thing they did was book for an engineer same as the store so I didnt actually get help

Hi @Kolaflager
Welcome to our community.
When you called did our team do any trouble shooting with you? Did they say why an engineer was needed and why there was a 3 week wait?
