Did you mean:

TV discount just because I ordered the hub pro and extender?

Hitsville

Yesterday I rang EE to order the hub pro and extender for £10 a month.

It was confirmed that nothing else would change in my account and my broadband contract end date would not change. (I did ask about upgrading to 1.6Gbps but was told I couldn’t. Not a massive shock having read other posts on the forum).

So the order confirmation for the new kit came through and it suddenly shows a £40 discount on my TV package.

Looking at my upcoming phone TV and broadband bill in the app it again shows a £40 discount and my TV package drops from £53 to £13 per month and says ongoing.
Again there was no mention of this when I spoke to the agent to order the hub pro and extender.

Did I really just save myself £30 a month (allowing for the extra £10 on the broadband.)
