how to retrieve emails from an old fsnet.co.uk account

I am belatedly trying to access emails from an old fsnet.co.uk email account, preferably to migrate this to a hotmail account. I was using this account in 2002 - will the emails still be archived and available?

@Peter27K : You can't! EE closed down all its email systems over 2 years ago as well as getting rid of all its domains including FSNet.co.uk.

Any emails you may have still stored in the email clients / apps on your devices will remain as long as you let them but there will be no new ones coming for you.

How can I log in? There doesn’t seem to be a server of that name on the web.

@Peter27K : Log in to what? As I said all EE email systems have gone for good, incl. any email servers.

Mmm, are you sure fsnet emails were not backed up to a storage medium that with a bit of effort could be retrieved. This may be time consuming so it would only be fair for the company to levy a charge. But technically if backups exist then it should be possible to restore the files.

@Dropinquickly : Positive! The email servers weren't even owned by EE but just leased space, long gone.
