Hi community, I am struggling with setting up my wifi calls on my iphone. I already enabled wifi calls in the settings but I cannot initiate or receive any calls. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I am Pay as you go user not contracted.

Can anyone help with this matter? Thanks a lot in advance

Hi, @Emeseagoston EE’s Wi-Fi Calling doesn’t work on Pay As You Go.

You can move on sim only contract, then you will be able to use WiFi Calling.

Thanks

That's great that they laughed WIFI calling for EE PAYG customers. But is it for new customers only? I tried to activate mine on iPhone but it said "To allow Wi-Fi calling on this account, contact EE." But I can't as I am abroad...

@RA90  wi-Fi calling only works when in the UK.  It is now being rolled out for pay-as-you-go customers but it’s still only for usage in the UK.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

@Chris_B -

I have the same issue. New SIM with a New iPhone 12 mini and the WiFi calling is the only thing that doesn't work.

I seem to remember the same thing happened to my phone when I moved to EE. This was fixed instantly by an EE rep on the phone. But it seems impossible to actually speak to a real person by dialing 150 at the moment. @EE you need to employ more staff!!!!

@rmbranson   How many more would be needed as it’ll never be enough when customer services are receiving lots of calls.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

That is simple math. They need one more member of staff than they have customers. 🙂 Then they'll have enough to cover all calls. Tariffs will be quite high though.
