Why haven't i been contacted about store delivery

Hi I Placed an order online, I had conformation email, but not heard anything since, I placed an order the same way a few weeks back for my sons new phone and no acknowledgement until i phoned 3 days later, is this standard?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Welcome to the community.

 

When did you order? You should receive a message from DPD the day before and morning of delivery, even if it's to the store.

Ordered last night / this morning and not a single response same happened 2 weeks ago when I ordered my sons iPhone 3 days after I ordered I had to chase order up via phone because not a single response was given. Disgraceful customer service.
