Hi I was trying to post a question when I was told I had to link my community ID or something along those lines. When I tried to use my old username and password it said it was already linked....

 

So I had to make this one to be able to post this question about linking my username.

 

Is there a way to get back my old one?

I too have this same issue.  So like the OP I have created a new username

 

Can't log on with old username, as it says it is already linked...

 

But I don't want to Link it, I already know it is linked.  I just want to Log in .

 

The Login button tries to make you register.

 

 

 

I can't phone in either  as my card is not active.  Phoning 07953 966 250  it tells me to send a text to 150 to receive my number..but I cant as the card is not active.  Also can't enter the number via the phone number above when it asks because it says the number is not recognised.
I am typing it in off the back of the original EE sticker on the card pouch the SIM card came in.  

it is correct number ..

 

it seems the system is deliberately trying to stop old customers from making contact. 

 

 

I have the SIM card, and I can read the serial number on the back..

I came to the website to get the contact details to get the card reactivated..

 

I CANNOT buy i a new card as I am in Jersey and we cant buy them here..I am due away on the boat to France in three days, so too late to get one posted for the UK.

 

 

 

 

EE just seem to make it deliberately difficult to get in contact.  You can't dial the help number (150 ) from the UK when there is a card problem..as it is a paid for service..tried that last year..grrrr.

 

 

how can i make contact with some one to re activate my card ?

 

yes I know I am putting all these separate issues in one thread, hijackign some one exes...as it is all related..the impossibility to contact EE support when most needed..

 

I tried the Online Chat help..but that doe into seem to work on an Apple mac , Safair  either ..the Chat section appears in the Help / Contact section..but no clickable links to start a chat.

 

If the EE service and coverage in UK and France and Mobile data deals were not so bloody good,, I'd drop EE like a stone for the poor customer service contact system

If you let me know your old username, I'll organise for it to be linked again. Sorry about that.

 

What is the reason for re-activating your SIM card? Have you got a new one? If so, what was the reason for the new one?

 

Are you on contract or pay as you go?

Would it be possible to get rid of my extra usernames? I just got notified three times to the same email haha

old username was neilpaisnel

 

same as this current one, but without the 01 on the end

 

wanted to re-activate as it was not working when I put it in my phone

 

i only use it for holidays to Europe, last time I used it was August 2020

 

it was PayAs You go

 

no i do not have a new card, as we cannot buy them in Jersey
