Okay so I upgraded family members phone (pay monthly SIM) and got their new phone sorted out - but their old one is still working fine? We got another sim card with their new phone as the plan was slightly different.
Basically do I need to deactivate their old phone and sim? As they didn't come up on my bill ? Basically I'm not paying for the new phone if they're still going to use the old one( that's completely busted btw)

@AmazonGeneral22 When you look on your EE account how many phones lines do you have and how many should you have ? You sometimes get a new SIM card as the old one might not fit the new device.

I have four lines on my account which is the amount I should have. There's literally two phones for the same phone number for my family member. I'm just needing to know how I deactivate the old busted phone and sim so they start using the new one.

@AmazonGeneral22 Just put the old sim in if it fits. That’s it

I can't as I had to get them a new plan for their new phone otherwise I definitely would have done that - will the old SIM (pay monthly as well) just deactivate? As it's not on my account anymore?

@AmazonGeneral22 The tariff has nothing to do with the SIM card that’s account based. The sim can have any tariff linked to it and you don’t alway need a new sim.
If you upgraded you can use the old sim if it fits.
