Hi I sent my phone back for trade in and sent this via Royal Mail Special Delivery as it was for the samsung £650 trade in offer, they received my package on the 23rd but I have heard nothing from them. I am concerned that I will be billed the £650 on Sunday when the deadline runs out even though they have the phone. I can't contact them as they are closed until monday now. Can anyone help?
thanks

Hi,
I know a while has passed since you posted, I'm just curious as i sent my phone off at the same time as you, and suprisingly they have told me that that the package was signed for however on closer inspection the package was empty, EE are telling me there is nothing they can do about the £650 charge, Brightstar are advising its not there issue its EE and Royal mail are stating as the has been shown as delivered its not there fault as bright star have accepted said envelope, So basically noone is willing to accept any responsibility and i am stuck with a £650 Charge. Did you manage to get anywhere?

Hi,
If you sent this special delivery like the brightstar pack advised you then Royal mail should cover this upto the insured amount as they should have responsibility for the package arriving ok.
If you just sent it with the standard pack they give you then I think you're out of luck as they advise that there is no insurance or anything on there standard pack.
Can't advise anything more unfortunately sorry!
