I'm moving to Australia soon and want some advice on my EE sim card / number. I currently pay £10 for a pay monthly sim with EE. IN Australia I intend to get a sim and new number with a provider there. However, I would like to keep my UK number for when I come back in around 1 year. Do I need to continue paying EE to keep my number? If so, what is the cheapest deal I can get considering I will not be using it at all so do not need data or minutes.

Hi @hannahvs
Welcome to the community. That's amazing news, what a big and exciting move.
The cheapest way (if you're out of contract) would be to cancel your contract and change to pay as you go. Just bear in mind our hibernation policy to keep the number active.
