Samsung s20 ultra order

I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.

 

i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

Yes it was the same for me last year when the 10 plus came out i had a 6 week wait i was always calling ee cs and i was being given conflicting information,i know that the guys n gals at all customer service departments are having a lot of grief over the s20 delays,hell if i was working as part of the ee customer service team I'd go on sick for 2 weeks till things blow over i can imagine how stressful it is at the moment,but if the manager's and more senior staff where more up front and honest with us the lovely ee community members/customers and just put us all in the picture with the same information across the board and not confusing us all then im guessing that the delays would be a little bit easier to swallow.

100% agree I'd rather them say they dont know I mean the guy I spoke to today had no idea they was sending the phones out 3 days early but then also guaranteed me 100% I'd have it tomorrow yet I've received nothing to say it is. Like surely they have a list of how many phones they had and where you are on the waiting list so they could go there is x number of people in front of you and we expect the phone to be delivered on the 26th or whenever like I'm not bothered about waiting I just dont like been fed lies and different information each time I phone up

I pre ordered an hour after the ultra was announced.  Looking at the status page it says that delivery will be in the next 24 hours, I dont know when it was updated, but i really hope i get my handset tomorrow

I've been on the phone twice with EE today. 

The first call the lady couldnt tell me a delivery date but told me they had the stock in and it was just a case of working through orders  

 

Since scrolling through the fourms today I thought I'd give them a call to see what's going on and to get my order number 

 

This guy really didnt know what to say as he told me the warehouse hasn't recieved them yet and the phone lines had been down all day ?? Well that's funny as I spoke to someone earlier who said it was in stock. And all I got in reply was urr ur umm. Busted maybe?! Lol 

I said to him I'd like some honesty.. if it's going to be 2 weeks 3 weeks just tell me.  

And still no answer?!!

Well it's 2111 and I've had no DPD text so think EE are full of it tbh. But hey prove me wrong!

Nothing from DPD.... NOTHING from EE.... My EE sam .... Tracking still suits nothin ... So guess I took tomorrow off for nothing.... And I will not be able to take Friday off at short notice....

What's bugging me when more is I upgraded soon as phones went live on website on 11th.......i had my confirmation of order by 8. 50pm......yet looks like I'm not getting mine yet people and good on them.. Who orders next day or few days later are getting confirmed delivery for tomorrow

After tracking showing 24-26th yet recieving a text saying t was coming tomorrow i said enough is enough and phoned up to speak to a manager.  

 

 They told my my phone had been picked for early delivery however due to coronavirus all the phones are in quarantine until further notice.  Was also spun a lie about how EE will honour the buds+ which turned out to be a load a crap.  When caught out on this they were rude and basically said go find another network.  Told them to transfer me to someone higher up. Spoke to an executive and 

Because of this and all the different lies ive been spun they took £50 off my bill.  However after this im looking into switching suppliers and cancelling this.  Been with Ee since they started was t mobile before this and im disgusted with the way this has been handled.
