I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.
i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

I ordered on 18th told 13th delivery upgrade on smart plan no order number nothing just a text saying delivery on 13th look out for dpd order in email not very good communication was told dont get order number on smart upgrade I've rang and told all is on computer it will be delivered 1st I will hear is dpd email

Hi mate i had a text message from EE saying that they are giving me a 10er off my monthly bill due to a plan pricing change so just double check that they aren't avin ur pants down

I like the way you've been told that ee will knock off a 10er for ya as an inconvenience for the delay to your order when you should be getting anyway,but if you can squeeze an extra 10 squirrels out of em then well done that man👍

Thanks @Northerner I do have an order number but when I enter it online it shows nothing. I did contact EE today and the first adviser told me the S20 Ultra is not being released until the 23rd of March. When I escalated this the resolutions adviser apologised and said the 13th. Either way I think EE could do with a more helpful tracking system. I think regardless if it's in stock or not a simple tracking page or your orders page would be beneficial. Thanks though for taking the time to help. 🙂

Hi @Bigdog1979 , thanks for the comments. You are lucky you got a text, so far I've nothing. Like I mentioned to the previous comment, I contacted EE and the initial adviser told me the s20 and s20 plus were the 13th and the ultra is 23rd. Only when I escalated my issue was I then told 13th. They still could not confirm a delivery date and said it was first come first serve. I would have thought given it's been 3 weeks since I placed the order EE should now know when I am likely to get it. Ah well I guess nowadays we are so used to getting things quickly and being informed along the way. Time will tell. On the bright side they gave me £30 off my next bill for the mixed messages I've been given.

I agree, I think at this point we’re all just looking for some honesty from EE customer service.
if my handset won’t be delivered until the 24th - 26th of March I will be bummed but at least I will know where I stand. I’m currently totally confused 🤷♂️
I can’t stay off work on the off chance that my phone “might be delivered tomorrow” or even Friday for that matter.
demand is always high for the latest flagship phone from any manufacturer and “first come first served” is the fairest way to operate but we need some clarity on this so that we’re not all just left hanging on with no concrete delivery date. Their customer service team should be equipped with the latest information on expected delivery but it seams like they are as much in the dark over this as we are?

EE has been disgusted in the way they have handled the whole preorder. The CS rep dont even know what to tell customers and are continually lying to customers. Shame on EE.

Unfortunately it wasnt a 10 off monthly @Gazza8374 just a single payment, im only paying 59 a month as an upgrade so its pretty much a steal anyway

Had the EXACT same thing today.
I got promised it as an "ee customer" earlier than the realease date.
When phoned up today the girl literally didnt know how to answer when it would be deliverd.
All she could say is that the phone has not been "picked" yet and until this is done so , they cannot give a date. But when putting my new contract through they promised me before the release date.
In which I said can anything be done as I'm very unhappy about this and they also offerd £30 off the phone cost of £50

I've just messaged the customer service and the guy promised to be it will be delivered on the 10th as theyve just received an update. I've also got it in writing and as a text, so we will see...
