Samsung s20 ultra order

I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.

 

i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

7 hours but on 55% should go until 1am so that be 12hours on heavy use but Huawei 30 can do 18plus on heavy use and this to everyone go buy cheap case of Amazon for 9.99 lol @Sammyjo3

@Graeme1905 I spoke to an advisor on web chat earlier today and he said I could possibly receive the phone on Monday.

 

I don't personally believe what I was told but I've heard soo many differing stories about people expecting the phone next day, recieving it already (I'm very sceptical about this), due end or March, start of April and now reports that Holland won't receive any until May?!!

 

In reality mate, even if EE receives a batch of Ultras, it will depend on how early you ordered it as the only consistent line I've heard from EE is the phones are being provided on a first come first served basis.

 

I've searched for info relentlessly from other network providers, network provider communities and Samsung themselves and I'm still none the wiser!

 

In reality only when you receive a text from DPD regarding the delivery will you actually have some accurate information.

 

I'm waiting until the end of March, if not received by then I'll reconsider my options.

@5hIfTy thank you. I am contemplating doing the same and cancelling my order also. Ill give it a week and reconsider my options.

I'm also still waiting was promised for the 10th when I ordered on the 23rd Feb and then promised the 11th and now on the 14th still nothing no communication from EE chased EE to see what's up they said no current information and to contact samsung however samsung not telling me and to speak with EE been trying to find out what's the delay personally I think EE should be issuing some sort of compensation for the delays like samsung are 

I've been told the same thing by 2 advisors yesterday and took what the 1st said with a pinch of salt so called back up a few hours later and was told that they did have a delay with the ultra but they now have stock and that i might get it today (Sat 14th) but would definitely be Monday 16th latest if not and arranged a courtesy callback with myself to make sure, Only time will tell and hopefully they are right.

Maybe the agents just don’t know themselves, they are only human! We are all eagerly awaiting our new toys but there is so much more important stuff happening in the world right now! We will all get them eventually, we just have to be patient! Remember the agent at EE is only doing their job and are probably being told lies themselves from the top dogs! Poor agent I spoke to was nearly crying with frustration bless her!

Regardless of who is lying, it would be much easier to tell the truth!! People might still not like it but they'd appreciate not being treated like idiots who have been fed around 6 different stories!

I for one am never rude to call handlers as I am aware it's not their fault but if you've had one close to tears, obviously the strain of people being upset at the dishonesty is now catching up with the staff.

All I meant is these poor agents probably don’t know the truth themselves and are only saying what they been told to say! 

This is to be expected as no one was told that there will be delays.

And after that you get feed more lies by the staff instead of public announcement that there will be delay due to whatever reason.

They probably did not expect delays at the time of pre-order. One assumes these are dispatched from overseas therefore nobody predicted a pandemic/national emergency! I will just enjoy mine when it eventually turns up! 🙂 have a lovely weekend all x
