Samsung s20 ultra order

I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.

 

i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

This his what happens when bt take over EE,there practices of lies and deceit and no customer service are starting to slip thru to EE like a cancer pure and simple

 

I've just got off the phone with EE as my delivery date confirmed by text was today. But, so far no delivery time. EE have just told me it will probably be earliest end of March !!!! But can't guarantee a date yet. 

Not best pleased. Especially after forking out a hefty upgrade cost. Which would have been £80 cheaper if I'd have waited to upgrade then rather than 4 weeks ago after the unveiling event.

Just spoke to a manager he looked at my account see ordered 18th so should have had it 10th then told 13th then 23rd he did it's not right he dont believe it's due to the virus but it might not of helped he said he is going to someone who deals with this as it's not right because he was honest and said I dont no a date but I will find out something I'll post when calls back also had to delivery from china turn up today so not post problem and certain shops like john Lewis have them it's not right it's all about making more money!Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

@Trebor1989   it’s called supply and demand and demand is higher than the supplied amount that EE have received from Samsung.

I agree, when you do a preorder and the delivery date gets closer and closer, it's disappointing when it doesn't then come to anything.

I spoke to an online chat person last night as I'd not even been sent an order number. I now have that but the tracking on ee says they can't show me anything right now. The online chat person said they expect me to have it on monday, but as the phone person said anywhere upto 3 weeks, I won't hold out much hope.

So why are EE staff telling people that launch day is today and we should get our preorders by March 13th? 

 

Why haven't ee notified customers that they won't get them for another month? 

 

Why hasn't ee actually publicly come out and said they sold more phones than they've actually got to sell.

@Trebor1989   EE rely on Samsung to deliver them device’s and Samsung have to deliver to all networks.  It not just EE who don’t have enough devices to deliver.

The date on a new order of the S20 Ultra just states;

"In stock

Order now. We’ll deliver to you or your local EE store as soon as we receive stock from Samsung." 

It did say 31st March when I looked yesterday, so the fact that they aren't specifying a date is worrying as well...

Come on people am feeling the pain , ordered my s20 ulta on the 5th of March , 

I had order confirmation straight away by email , if you want to track on app ,

just go to the ( what’s new link ) on app and there’s a link with your order !!

Mine is saying it’s on track ! But it’s not sent out ,  I was told long before by EE adviser that the phone will be posted on a first come first served basis, and was told I would receive phone by the 20th March , so I wasn’t holding my breath for the 13th . 
but if the people who ordered in February are having trouble, what do that say for my order , am still positive I will receive phone  by Friday the 20th , but if I don’t I may cancel and just order a black shark 3 pro .

I just called EE and they've told me Samsung hasn't given them any stock as well like the recent comments have said. Apparently they will text or email when there is and that I can either wait or change to something else. Obviously I'll be waiting but all they could tell me was "hopefully soon".
