Samsung galaxy fold z release

I have pre ordered the fold z and had conflicting information from EE, such as the 18,21 September and we have no date so no one should be giving out a date is what I have been told.

Do we have a confirmed ee release date as to when I will get my product

• There were phones in stock at one point she confirmed. (Which we knew)
• EE support reading stock as next day delivery is them not knowing what they are saying. (She said stock count can show as "99,999" which is kinda a bug, but means staff see it and go "Yeah should be with you tomorrow" So that explains that)
• There is currently no stock as of today.
• Stock comes in on Tuesdays. (So fingers crossed for tomorrow)
• Samsung allocates stock based on the number of orders from each provider. (For instance, if O2 has more preorders then they get the stock first)
• Also if let's say 12 were in stock they would allow potentially 18+ people to order those 12 devices because of how many systems are linked to one system. (It cant update quick enough)
• She is also escalating this forum again for an EE response. As she said she doesn't get why EE couldn't just relay what she is telling me.

Conclusion.

We might get stock tomorrow. She said she is going to call me if they do.

@ChemicalDan cheers for this mate. I'm hoping this is an honest and clear update.  To he fair, all of which makes sense.

But it infuriates me as to when no one is saying this to us and why can't compensation be provided as a whole if these issues are in play.

I'm still nervous however as I've been told stock replinshment is Mondays....lol.  let's see how it (excuse the pun) unfolds

I have placed an order with Carphone Warehouse (Vodafone Contract).

They are providing me delivery date 29th Sep.

I will cancel my EE order if I don't receive by Friday.

Funny thing is....my case came from Germany!!!!!!!

Hi, I pre-ordered on the 4th mystic black and also received the "Good news. Your order is coming soon" update yesterday. Nothing else changed with order status. Anybody else receive this and what does it mean? Hopefully it means imminent dispatch but more than likely pacifying tactic.

@Laich71  hi,. I pre ordered on the 4th and got that update a few days ago.  Unfortunately it doesn't really mean much.  Maybe we are slightly closer in their so called 'first come first serve queue'.  Haven't received anything else from them since apart from inconsistent information.

Have been following this for a while but I just contacted them myself to see what information I got.

I preordered on 2nd September for Mystic Black and received the standard ‘Good News, your order is coming soon’ on the 16th. 

I spoke to someone in upgrades and he went to speak to some managers and he said that it’s a stock issue from Samsung and said that they haven’t been given a timeframe from them and so said that he’s just as much in the dark as we are.

I know it’s not helpful. But it’s an update all the same
