Samsung galaxy fold z release

I have pre ordered the fold z and had conflicting information from EE, such as the 18,21 September and we have no date so no one should be giving out a date is what I have been told.

Do we have a confirmed ee release date as to when I will get my product

I hope somebody at EE can tell us something of use. I've had two of those emails stating the order is on track however the tracking details page doesn't show no relevant information.

I ordered on 2nd Sep and on the phone I was told that it would arrive on the day. I questioned them on this because I've pre-ordered 4 phones in the past which were never on time: Galaxy Note 7 (the batteries were exploding with this one but it still never arrived on the day) , Galaxy S8+, Galaxy S10 5G and Galaxy Note 10 5g.

Some of these arrived 2-3 weeks later. EE have always been awful at handling pre-orders so I'm not expecting it to be any different this time but they were certain they would arrive on time.

I spoke to one lady last night and one this morning at ee that both stated that I would receive it tomorrow. Hope that's not just wishful thinking 😕

@Rachel1977  Its been a mess on what the support agents are saying. In the nicest way, don't get your hopes up. Some say tomorrow and then some say I don't know. Had one tell me at one point that I would get it today, but obviously that's not going to happen.

@ChemicalDan I'm glad you said that they told you it would arrive today. I was told that it would arrive on the 17th when I first ordered it but they're obviously ill informed

@Teejay-  Yeah, first I was told 18th, then called again the next day to still be told 18th. Then today I was told that it was meant to be dispatched yesterday for delivery today but it hadn't had a label produced so it hadn't gone out.

Im just so so lost with what to believe from EE now.

Happily took all our money, but cant provide a straight answer.

I'm not getting anything other than if will be dispatched when the supplier sends stock to EE. Not a great start for a new customer. Customers ordering direct from Samsung are getting free ear buds and a £50 voucher. Bet we don't get them for being EE customers and being kept in the dark.

Hope you all get your deliveries tomorrow as promised. Also phoned today and was told it is not very certain we will get the device on the release day..  not a clear message at all..

Come on EE give us an answer?

I'm definitely not getting mine tomorrow. Order page still just says order confirmed. Nothing from EE. Grrr
