I have pre ordered the fold z and had conflicting information from EE, such as the 18,21 September and we have no date so no one should be giving out a date is what I have been told.
Do we have a confirmed ee release date as to when I will get my product

@JonCameron I ended up sending them evidence that:
They did have the devices in stock and have been sending them out to customers.
Chat transcripts telling me that the device was guaranteed for launch and that I should receive it on the 18th.
Chat transcripts telling other customers they were receiving partial refunds and upfront costs refunded.
Chat transcripts from both Vodafone and O2 giving me a guaranteed date for delivery (By Wednesday)
Confirmation that some flagship EE stores have stock of the Z Fold 2 right now.

@ziggymon How dare you point out that they are inefficient, incompetent, inconsistent and not fulfilling their customer service commitments!
They are obviously advising their agents not to dig any more litigious holes by giving you false information.
Well there's a lot of people here who are extremely grateful for your efforts and for challenging them!

@ziggymon go public with it, there is some news places reporting on the delay at the moment so could try and push EE into giving us the free buds too. Probably won't happen but link the discussion to them too.

Well I thought I would call again, to see what I am told.
Well here's a new one...
"This phone hasn't been officially launched with EE yet."
After pointing out ... err, it has...
"That's what I was told."
Hmm.. take a look at your website, the phone is showing "In stock" superseded with "Order now. We’ll deliver to you as soon as we receive stock from our Supplier."
After lots of being placed on hold I was unfortunately given the same answer (and to be fair he was polite and sympathetic)...
"We have no stock available and we don't know when we will"

Guys , update...
So got a call from EE complaints where they have offered me £50 off my next bill. I have challaged it but they refused to go further.
In terms of the phone, she didn't say anything as to when it is available cause the supply chain doesn't have exacting dates, therefore they can't promise when we get the phone, could me Monday/Tuesday...could be following week...no one knows.
However, if you do raise a complaint, you will get compensation of sorts

I've called again today and they told me that they can't confirm a date still as they don't have any in stock. I told them that they had clearly been giving different advice to others but they still were't able to. Neither we they willing to give me any kind of compensation. I've cancelled the order and have ordered with o2 instead
