I have pre ordered the fold z and had conflicting information from EE, such as the 18,21 September and we have no date so no one should be giving out a date is what I have been told.
Do we have a confirmed ee release date as to when I will get my product

Well I called up again trying to find answers as I'm away on Holiday later this week and I've been promised it's coming the next day for several days now with nothing arriving. I spoke to a rep on the phone who was anything but helpful and said the phone hadn't been released yet. I asked to speak to a manager but she said they were all in a meeting (this is at 1pm on Sunday). I said I'd stay on the phone until I could speak to someone and that I was on the verge of cancelling. She asked me to hold and then ten minutes later came back saying she had cancelled my order for me. I hadn't asked her to do this and she didn't even think to confirm with me before doing so. I said I wanted my order reinstated, but I've now been told by various departments that all they can do is place a new order and that will put me at the back of the queue. I pre-ordered on the 3rd. I am utterly, utterly disgusted.

The manager I spoke to was just as unhelpful. They said there's nothing they can do and they can't put me back in the right place in the queue for a device.

Hi all,
I've been watching this topic very closely as i too am in the same boat as all you guys with pre ordering on the 1st sept confirmed on the 5th sept and have still heard nothing from ee regarding this.
Seeing how much trouble you guys are having with EE CS ect i've gone the opposite way and am contacting samsung instead to see if they can comfirm wether there is actually stock in the uk ect and seeing wether they will compensate us instead as i have friends that ordered with samsung direct and are getting free £50 voucher and galaxy buds live. Ect ect i wont bore you's with everything i laid out to them but i will keep you updated how i get on.

Maybe you'll have more luck than me, but i tried talking to Samsung about compensation and told that would be down to the service provider and nothing to so with them.

I wouldn't worry about being placed in the front or back of their FCFS imaginary list.
I ordered from Samsung on Friday and had it delivered on Saturday. Haven't cancelled my order with EE yet though, kind of wanna wait and see if they do offer anything to keep my business.

I am with O2 who didn't support the original fold after seeing how nice the fold 2 looked i decided to move to EE as they were the first to offer a pre-order and i didn't know if o2 would ever stock it.
I ordered on the 8th over the phone and like everybody else was told "yer guaranteed delivery on release day.
After reading some of the comments about potential end of October delivery i thought id look see if anybody else had stock.
O2!! The same people I'm about to leave for EE. So I call O2 to see if their quoted 2/3 day time for delivery was right. I was told the delivery time was "live data and being updated all the time so if it say 2/3 day that's what it would be."
So I thought we'd have a race O2 vs EE see who gets here first!
Also i really feel your pain, having a holiday booked and not being able to take your new fold would kill me! Hope it comes before!

I’ve ordered with O2 after cancelling my EE order. I spoke to O2 on their live chat to make sure that the phone would come in 2-3 days. Initially I was told that they too had none in stock. I asked to speak to a manager as I told them that they should not be advertising a delivery date of 2-3 days if they couldn’t fulfil this. The manager too a long time on the call trying to investigate this. At first, she said the same. Then, she said that she would go away and speak to someone else. She then came back and confirmed that it would be delivered in 2-3 days as promised. She didn’t fill me with confidence though and I suspect that O2 customers will have the same problems.

I can't see anyone getting them tomorrow. Really annoyed!
