Replacement SIM no signal

A replacement for my lost sim card arrived yesterday and there has been no signal the whole time. I thought maybe it just needs a bit of time but still nothing. I wish I could call 150 but I can’t as my sim doesn’t work.

Have you tried activating your new SIM online?

When did you process the request to activate your SIM?

When I asked for a replacement SIM card I was told I won’t have to activate it. I however did all the tips for iPhones in the hope it may help. I did so couple hours ago.

These requests can take up to 24 hours. 

 

Do you have an alternative line you could contact our customer care team on?

 

If yes, please call 0800 079 8586 so a representative can look into this further.

Hi Katie, I have contacted you via phone yesterday and was told it should be all working by today. Unfortunately it’s still not. What should I try next?

Hi Leanne, still no signal. 
Im not new to the community, I just went abroad for 10 months and left my SIM there. I have lost a SIM before which is why I thought this will be easy.

Do you have the same phone that you used your previous EE SIM card in?

 

Are you in the UK at the moment?

 

Also, when you spoke to our customer care team did they take the SIM card details and register this for you?
