Has any body found a way to contact ee because I am having major problems with the signal in my house, they told me that there was an issue but that they had fixed it but it is still very poor

If this is mobile signal related then try restarting your phone. If the local mast was fixed then it will take some time to come back online especially if many people are trying to connect at the same time.

I'd recommend using the status checker again, and use the "report a problem" link to send a report directly to EE network teams.
The vast majority of network issues tend to clear immediately the underlying fault is cleared, but there are some circumstances where this doesn't apply.
