If you have been prompted to create a new EE Community username when you are signing in, but you already have one, here are the steps to take to get the issue fixed.

@Profile closed You've stated what the issue is in the right place, you've tagged the community team member who has helped others, just wait and you'll get a reply.
It's happened to me twice. Each times it's taken a day or two to resolve. These are community help pages, not 24/7 support.

@Gordon57 will do, but to be frank I spoke to EE support who pointed me in the direction of the community. It's usually the other way around. 😊

@Profile closed well... yes and no, you are talking about your community username so it's something for the community team to deal with. EE telephone support don't have access to these pages in the same way that the community team cannot access accounts. It's still EE here but mainly user to user help.

I've made the changes now, when you are logged in again it will be as your original profile. I've deleted the new profile for you as you will not be able to get back into it. Sorry for the delay, I wasn't in the office yesterday.

Is there any way @Profile closed's posts can be merged back into mine? I am being inundated by notification emails from just 4 of his posts & I now cannot change his notification settings.

Glad Miles was able to get that fixed for you. Unfortunately it can't be merged, but I can delete the account so you are no longer getting the notifications for it. I'll do that for you this morning. Or, if you prefer, I can just change the notification settings on it. Let me know which you would prefer.
