Hello,
I have pre-ordered the new S21 Ultra and upgraded ( trade in anytime ) on my current plan, i see confirmation email and order number, but i have not been charged for the upfront cost yet. Has the order been confirmed? Or will i be charged once it is out for delivery?
I've had this before, whre online EE upgrade orders didnt work, and i had to call up the EE team,

As you have received a confirmation email this indicates your order has been received by us.
If you wish to check the status of your order please give us a call and our customer service team can confirm your order.

I originally placed my order online but due to a previous experience last year for the S20 ultra, I called EE to manually order the S21. This will override your online order.
Sometimes the order gets stuck in the system and I didn't want to miss the first batch of devices when they're shipped.
I don't think EE take the £100 upfront payment until the order has been processed. If the money hasn't been taken from your account I would take that as confirmation your order has not yet been processed.
Keep in mind that EE has likely received large volumes of preorders so may take a while to get through them.
To sum up - Your online order is probably fine and will be processed any day now. If you want peace of mind give them a call and order it over the phone. I was given an order number via text as soon as the call was over.
