Hi Guys,
Looking at a £10/month 4GB basic sim only PAYG plan, and was wondering if they are speed capped?
Looking at other providers and they seem to cap speeds on pay monthly, and uncapped on PAYG for some reason.
Thanks!

Hi Jason
I was part of a long running thread a few years ago about PAYG restrictions, my main complaints being lack of access to higher download speeds and Band 20 (800).
Pleased to report that in the car wash queue yesterday in Swinton (Salford) I clocked two segments on Rootmetrics coverage map at 240 and 220 Mbps d/l (iPhone 8 PAYG). That must be LTE+ as my phone has no 5G.
With regard to Band 20, a long perusal of Cellmapper for the Manchester area discloses virtually no masts with this frequency.
Now that I have boosted my data and minutes over about three years, I'm actually glad I persevered with PAYG.
Regards, John.
