Hello, I've tried several stations and many times "forgetting" the wireless network, but it always fail to connect.

Anything different I should do on my side? PAYG customer with direct debit enabled, so I'm never far from topping up.

Hi @rogervn

Welcome to the community.

Has this ever worked for you or are you setting it up for the first time?

Chris

Hello @Christopher_G, it has never worked, it's the first time time I tried to set it up after activating my sim.

OK thanks, @rogervn.

What kind of phone are you using?

Chris

@Christopher_G, it's an Android phone. Pixel 4xl.

Thanks, @rogervn

Our London Underground WiFi help page says to follow these steps to connect:

  1. once underground, turn on your WiFi

  2. select EE WiFi-Auto from the list of networks

  3. set the ‘access method’ to EAP

  4. set your ‘EAP method’ to SIM

Did you follow those steps?

Chris

@Christopher_G, yes, I still went further on searching for troubleshooting steps and did repeatedly forget the WiFi on different days and tried to reconfigure it again from scratch with the EAP and SIM parameters.

It always keep on trying to connect and then it fails with "Authentication problem"
