Hi we are trying to find the message centre phone number and APN to allow a TP Link 3G HSPA USB stick to send text messages which it was until it was swopped from Vodafone to EE (T-Mobile). Spoke with tech guys at EE store who could not give the required info but sold us another PAYG 4G Standard Multi SIM.
Have tried +447958879879 and "anywhere" as APN without success. Software indicates the simm card is working and connected to the T-mobile network.
So need to confirm........
1 .Service Centre Address (phone number)
2 .APN
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Is it T-Mobile UK that it's connected to, @Coolsynergy, or are you abroad?
Is it a T-Mobile SIM card or an EE one?

UK.......having swopped to a new HSPA stick have managed to get network connection and send text using +447958879879 as the SMSC number.
Yes Chris, this is used in UK only to communicate alarms (backup route) via SMS text to mobile phone.
The bespoke software device this has to work with also asks for an APN so half way there. was told APN is "anywhere" ?

Thanks Chris, yes think this might work now changed out the USB 3G stick for a different make, it seems to be happy with the simm card so far.
