Hi All,
Today in the morning my switch to EE has been succesfully completed.
Before my old number was transferred, my new EE card worked as it should: SMS + Mobile Data.
Since switch completed, I can't reply to any text messages (I receive them without an issue) and what is more annoying - can't use Mobile Data at all.
I reset network settings, I spent an hour with consulant, I asked for call back as can't spend all day at work trying to sort the problem, but nobody get back to me...
I placed my EE card into 2 other devices - no Mobile Data .
I put 2 different cards from other providers into my new phone - no problem with Internet.
Any thoughts?
Thank you very much for any assistance in advance

Thanks for the welcome. The other SIM is completely disconnected - it shows emergency calls only, so there's definitely no chance of any service on that old SIM. I have restarted the phone a few times just to see if there is any change, but so far nothing at all.

Is your phone on contract or pay as you go, @DGH69?

PAYG - wanted to try the network out before deciding whether or not to go for a contract.

OK thanks, @DGH69. 🙂
If you try to text BALANCE to 150 from the EE SIM, does it go through? If so, what does the reply say?

I can't text to 150 or any number - it just comes up saying 'failed to send'. I have credit left - unlimited texts - only topped up on Saturday and haven't used the SIM much as was waiting for my PAC code to move the number over.

@DGH69 : For sending texts, check your phone's Messaging app has the Message Centre no. setting for EE as +447958879879.

Thanks for checking @DGH69
Can you make calls?
What happens when you try and connect to data or use any apps?
Thanks 🙂
Leanne.
