No Internet / Data since i moved from Vodafone

Can anyone shed any light on this please.

 

I moved to EE today after 25 years with Vodafone ... I have an iphone 12 Pro (unlocked)  and I ported my number. The phone number has ported ok and is working but not the data. I cannot access the internet .  Ive spoken with EE support in ireland, newcastle and timbucktoo but no-one has a clue why my internet isn't working

 

Ive reset the networks settings etc etc , switched phone off etc etc but now they are saying 'it may take another 24 hours'  is this true or am i being fobbed off?

 

any help would be appreciated.

@Mx1987  if you go to settings/General and scroll down to profile is there a profile installed ? if there is please delete it and then restart your device.
