Hi,
I took out a new contract just under a week ago on a good value 160GB contract
This absolutely should be enough, and I've used just a fraction but I'm just feeling a little unsure after being on 'unlimited' in the past (safety net, changes post-covid which could lead to more data use)
Presumably as I'm in the cancelation period I could contact CS to discuss options - but I've read ppl have been told they can only continue or cancel, not modify (I've not ported number yet).
So two questions
a) During the cancel period I presume this is a viable discussion to have
b) Once outside the cancelation period on SIM only, at what point can I switch to more data if circumstances deem that necessary. Is that 6 months? I presume the catch with this is that typically 'normal' published prices would apply rather than loyalty bonus (which I currently have) or perks (which I have access to, but didn't use)

If you ordered online or by phone you may cancel the order FoC before or during the statutory 14-day cooling-off period from delivery & then reorder what you really want.

Thanks - yes I was aware of that.
It's a shame I've not been able to get my 'what-if' satisfied - in an earlier example the poster was able to get EE to offer a plan switch during the cooling off period.
I just got around to calling EE now and they couldn't offer any changes at all (yes, I know I can cancel) at this point.
I'll almost def stick with it. Good price, decent data, excellent network. It was just that back-of-mind 'what if' especially around working remotely without wifi leading me to consider unlimited, unjustifiably so.
Still love to know if CS can help here.
