Ive got a replacement sim will the old one still work?
My ex has the phone so i want to know if she can access any new messages/whatsapps that come through?
Can't seem to get hold of anyone at ee to find out!

Hi Tommy.. is the new sim for the same number? If so in my experience once the new sim is activated it automatically cancels the previous one.

top man fingers crossed it is cancelled! can't even seem to speak to anyone to cancel the handset though any ideas? if you call 150 it says go to the website then the website says call 150!

Yes when I changed to sim only after my contract was over that's what happened. I did get through to CS a few weeks ago in the midst of covid, it only took 3-4 minutes on that occasion. Depends what you want to do with the phone you don't have - if you cancel/blacklist it then it will be pretty much worthless plus I guess you would need the IMEI number. If you're not worried about the existing stuff on there I wouldn't bother; no more of your stuff should arrive now the sim is changed..
