I have not used a sim for a few months, and now the sim is blocked or dead, it not getting any network, I can't send or receive any calls or SMS. Can this sim be alive again?

@aparmar  To keep your Sim card active you have to use it at least once every 179 days that’s make a chargeable call or text. After this time it will go into hibernation for a further three months and within that time frame you need to call EE to have it reactivated if it’s been longer than three months then unfortunately the sim is now dead and you’ll need a new one and the number will not be retrievable.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Is it possible to get the same number again? I realised that I have that number in my Paypal account, and I cant login into my Paypal account as I cant receive an SMS code on this number.

It depends. When did you last use it for a chargeable action?

Hi @aparmar

When your number is in hibernation, it is still possible to get it back until you’ve reached 269 days of no chargeable activity.

If you are within the 269 days please call our customer service team who will be able to help further.

Katie 🙂
