We launched WiFi Enhancer to help prioritise your connection for gaming or while working from home. It applies to multiple devices across the household and differentiates by activity type to make sure that gaming and work traffic get the bandwidth and performance they need, when they need it. And now, we’re adding Stream Mode.
What's Stream Mode
Say hello to Stream Mode, only available on EE. Stream Mode is a switchable WiFi mode that puts your streaming traffic into the fast lane whenever you’re using apps like YouTube or Netflix.
You’ll also enjoy a a fine-tuned connection thanks to Ping Optimiser. A proactive bit of tech magic that curbs buffering.
You can switch Stream Mode on and off whenever you need to, using WiFi Controls in the EE app. And, if you use your WiFi for gaming or work, there are modes for that too.
You can even use all three modes at the same time.
Stream Mode is being launched via a phased roll out to eligible EE home broadband customers with a Smart Hub Plus and Smart Hub Pro over the coming weeks.
