Flashing orange light no internet

Have had 1 engineer appointment so far on 2nd July  for a home visit after losing internet on 26th June.

Was told after the visit, the issue is outside the property. Though im still abit worried its about 60% likely. Just wish I knew more about the issue instead of just waiting for another appointment on 8th July. Would be nice to know the error code he got or at least if others I've had this issue in the past.

@matthewreen1411   have you asked customer services for any mre detail?

That said it just sounds like a break in your circuit somewhere.

Do you have full fibre, or does your broadband still come via your phone line?

Its a master socket, only using the broadband no landline.he told me its an
outside issue.

Only had this drop in service 4 years ago when I found out my other outlets
in my property were the problem but he confirmed its just the one signal.

Hi @matthewreen1411

Thanks for coming to the community.

If you get in touch with our broadband tech guides, they may be able to provide more details for you to let you know what this outside issue is.

Thanks.

Leanne.

I mean that doesn't help as my problem doesn't show on there.

I don't see any record of the error code there. 😕

@matthewreen1411    not sure what you mean or what you have found if you clicked the link @Leanne_T  provided.

Just simply call EE for an update, the error code is the orange light and no internet.

Call us

Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm

Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm

From your EE mobile

150

From any other phone

0330 123 1105

Calls are free from an EE number. Charges may apply if you call from another network.

From what @Leanne_T  says to me, she made it sound like I would find out what this issue is outside my property.

But when I do click on the link, it just gives me troubleshooting. It doesn't tell me, 1. If the orange flashing light is common 2. What the error code i had was from my engineer and 3. What should be the issue outside my property that has caused this.

All @Leanne_T advised was for you to get in touch with EE; nothing more. nothing less. Nowt about directly diagnosing your issue other then by talking it over.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP
Thank you for clearing that up. Sorry i thought she said i would find the
answer through the link my apologise.

Though when I call EE they just tell me they don't have a record of a code
as this goes straight to the BT open reach service team who don't have any
contact details

@matthewreen1411    is you broadband working now?

If not, then just ask Customer Services what the issue is, and when it will be fixed.

You need to just focus on making sure your internet is working, and not get distracted with anything else.
