Disgusting Price Increase!

I've just had the email that you are now cashing in on the cost of living crisis by smashing a massive 14.4 % increase on my bill.

Its absolutely disgusting, at a time when people are struggling to eat and heat their homes you decide to hit us with that ridiculous increase, not just a few % you up it by 14.4%

Its sick and I'll never be using EE again when this contract ends, I'll also be going out of my way to warn other people from using you, there's absolutely no justification in a hike like that, its pure greed and you should be ashamed.

You're a disgrace!

I absolutely 100% will not be renewing my contract with EE. Luckily I only have a few short months left, because 14% ?!

I've just got notice that my contract is increasing by over £5.00 a month so I think in this economic climate at the moment , you are best doing what suits your pocket. I will defo be looking elsewhere and best wishes.

EE is applying the CPI increase to the handset costs which are obviously worked into the monthly cost. Applying CPI to credit payments is ripping customers off. Being upfront about is not out of care for the customer but just a legal requirement to be able to apply the charge, if that was not an issue I am sure EE would say nothing. As for investment in the network that should be calculated into the monthly cost at the start of the contract. How did EE manage to build a network using fixed monthly payments in the first place? I've had an EE phone for years and my service is still crap all these years later so I see no investment as a customer.

What i would like to know is why inflation would make my bill increase?

What extra payments are EE having to make for it to effect my bill?

The cheek of the extra 4% is what will make me and my partner leave. I notice EE is partnered with BT and we have broadband with BT, they have just done exactly the same increase so that's about £30 increase a month between the two of us! Will be cancelling both BT and EE direct debits and going elsewhere!

Its fantastic to see everyone letting EE know how angry they are in this robbery! People need to show they wont accept being treat like this in the name of profits, its pure immoral robbery and its disgusting.

I hope this backfires massively on them and becomes a decision they really regret.

Plusnet for Broadband and Sky Mobile

@Simon_Bath : PN operates the same CPI+3.9% annual increase for its BB as EE.

@Simon_Bath

How did EE offered 10% reduction? Is it for your existing contract (how many months left) or Have you renewed your contract ?

It was a big NO from EE when I called about 14.4% rise…!!
