I've just had the email that you are now cashing in on the cost of living crisis by smashing a massive 14.4 % increase on my bill.
Its absolutely disgusting, at a time when people are struggling to eat and heat their homes you decide to hit us with that ridiculous increase, not just a few % you up it by 14.4%
Its sick and I'll never be using EE again when this contract ends, I'll also be going out of my way to warn other people from using you, there's absolutely no justification in a hike like that, its pure greed and you should be ashamed.
You're a disgrace!

My contract is up in July. I will be leaving EE the moment it does. It might be in the contract, but it is inexcusable nonetheless.

In this case, i'll be expecting a significant increase in service level where I live. 12 Miles from the centre of London, in the south east. (TN16 postal code area). There's 4 masts mounted very high up on top of a building less than 1/2 a mile from my house, the masts must be at least 30 metres off the ground. Then there's shops closer to home than that that have smaller masts on them. Yet I still struggle to receive service, often being lucky to get 1 bar of cellular service, in a bungalow (single storey) building built in the 1930's.
To claim extensive prices rises are for "investment in infrastructure" is one thing, actually using that increased income to invest in the network is something else. We all know the reality of it is that probably 50% of that extra income will be used in investment and the other 50% will be to line shareholder pockets and fund "fat cats" lifestyles.

Not to happy with this price increase i basically upgraded a few days ago from 6 months into a sim only other day i received an email about the 14.4 percent price increase day light robbery is an understatement and can only think EE will lose a hell alot of customers over this including possibly myself
As im only two days into my upgrade i may possibly return so the problem you have is
Iphone 14 Pro Max - £81 agreed price told next month this will rise to £93 this was not what i agreed. £2232 for a mobile phone which retails at £1100
Series 8 Apple Watch Stainless Steel - 44.80 agreed price with insurance will rise to £51 - £1124 for a device which costs £750
You should be rising your prices on tariff only not the full price of the contract what makes EE think this is acceptable to charge
Yes i understand you pay for your tariff aswell but seriously it doesnt cost £1100 for a 24 month sim plan
Will possibly return all my stuff and go elsewhere

why come out with the same crap on every post youve been up front my crack, youve basically added 3x yearly RPI on one product EE wont think twice about binning you all off on redundancy to line the pockets even further

well seems EE would rather lose £120 a month than give up with the 14.4 removal
what a laugh you lot really are have you ever heard about a company rejecting money even still at a profit
Same deal on Vodafone £42 a month cheaper
🙄

Oh and here's the best bit. The spiteful minded old woman I spoke to on 150 (and hung up on after 20 minutes of listening to her sanctimonious rubbish) told me that the reason my bill has gone up is because the government want to get back all the money they've been giving away to all these people who don't work. I'm disabled. I don't work. So there you have it, the reason my bill has gone up is because of people like me. You couldn't make it up. She's about to find out the hard way what happens when you insult disabled customers like that. Guess who's going to be taking money from the government while she looks for a new job? 🙂😄

@Sarahs1986 You do know other networks are putting up prices the same or more than EE.
You also would have been told on taking out this new contract about the yearly price increase. Or did you not read any of the T&Cs ??
it just makes me laugh that these comments are aimed at EE in such a way that no other network is doing such a thing.

Chris, you do realise other providers are also not raising theirs a penny because they have morals and care about their customer?
it makes me laugh that you are defending being ripped off yourself? Whilst the country tries to fight for fairness there’s you with a banner saying please charge us more! It’s ridiculous, you’re an embarrassment

Imagine the price hike on top of a phone that an ee member of staff broke and you're still paying for it, even though it's useless!!!
Don't but a flip or fold phone ever!
Greedy company with no support for customers

We're aware of price increases but 14.4 % ? Greedy company, that didn't even loose anything through the pandemic like most of us did is loss of earning etc
