Deposit for service

Pierre6
Visitor

I recently upgraded my phone a few weeks ago and today went to use it and shock my account was suspended.  I logged in bemused as bill not due and apparently I owed £50 which I was not aware of and to add insult you slapped a late payment charge for something I knew nothing about. To reinstate my services I had to pay this deposit for service charge.  I've been with EE years now and this charge is new to me.  How can you add a charge then suspend customer account without even telling me??? When I completed my upgrade with Keith from Doncaster call centre he mentioned nothing about this charge. Only £6.98 delivery.

Disappointed with the service is an understatement,  I want this charge reimbursed and this so called late payment removed from my account!!!!!!!!

@Pierre6  then you need to call customer services and speak with then as this is a public forum that has no access to your account and cannot do anything to help you with any reimbursement that you think you might be entitled to.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi @Pierre6

Welcome to the community. I'm sorry to hear that there was a deposit charge that you weren't aware of.

I recommend following @Chris_B's advice and speak to our Mobile Care team.
