I ordered a phone on Friday. Got a message saying it would be delivered on the Monday. I get up at 8am Saturday morning and have a message I missed my delivery! Then I see that a message was sent at 6:59am from the very poor delivery service DPD that I would have a delivery between 8:44-9:44am. At 8:58am there is another message that I missed my delivery! We were both up... no doorbell ring or knock on door. Our ring cctv does not show anyone at our door. This courier is a liar.

I'm sorry to hear about the problem with your delivery. Have DPD said what will happen with re-delivery? Will they try again on Monday?

I telephoned Sky as they need to know what the DPD people get up to. The delivery has now been re-scheduled for Monday via a polite lady at Sky - which it should have been in the 1st place.

@Daisy2013 , why contact Sky? This is EE here, so not sure why you are coming here if it was something you ordered from Sky. If it was something from EE, then you would contact EE.

 

I have never had a problem with DPD, always had my deliveries, not just ones from EE, but others too.

 

Are you sure your ring doorbell was working correctly?

Sorry, I meant EE.....both issues on the same day. Either way, DPD are one of the worst couriers notwithstanding what they are delivering, or who for. 

@Daisy2013 , not in my book there not, maybe it is just where you are, always get a text/email the evening before and on the day of delivery with a one hour delivery time, Not sure why you think they are the worst, others complain about Hermes, probably depends where you live, never had a problem with any of the delivery companies where I live.
