Why does EE not have it's own dedicated email service as in joeblogs@ee.co.uk ?

Are you asking about email as a means of contacting EE?
Or are you a home broadband customer wanting an email address?

I simply thought it strange that we here.... do not have our own Email addy..... Why is this? Is EE not happy to display it's name on emails? My question is a simple one really... why is it not possible to send and email as...... coldwinter@ee.co.uk. why is the ee always left out? After all it would be the ideal place to advertise our service? Why should EE be in the shadows?

And yes indeed, I am a home broadband customer and it would be good to have an email addy that I can give to friends and colligues that show I am an EE associate 🙂

Thanks for coming to the community.
I am sorry, we don't offer an email service.
If you require an email address, there are lots of free email services available such as Gmail.
Hope this helps.
Leanne.

@Doormouse776 : A good Q! Why indeed!
It did provide its own quite versatile email addys with multiple sub-domains (just like a domain host) for its BB users but in its foolishness decided to close it down 4 years ago.
