I have a monthly plan where I get 26 gb per month. It is for Internet in a caravan. The last couple of months my data has been used up faster than normal and I don't know why! I've only used it for about 2 hours on YouTube and 90 mins on iplayer. Done some Facebook and Instagram but that's about it. My question is should 40 mins of iplayer take up 600 my?

Hi @Suffolksteve.
Do you have any other devices connected to your Mobile Broadband that could be using data?
The amount of data used can vary depending on the quality of what you're watching, and also the length of the programme or video. Watching videos on Facebook and Instagram will of used more data than just scrolling through photos too.

Only a phone and tablet so it's only standard definition. Checked my data before and after watching iplayer for 40mins and it used over half a gb.

Thanks @Suffolksteve.
If you're able to get in touch with our Tech Care team they will be able to take a look at your data usage and try to get a better idea of what is happening for you.
They will be able to check for any irregularities.
