I have just taken out a new contract with Affordable Mobiles but have now found out I can’t just automatically keep my number. Following advice I have bought a PAYG sim with o2 (big mistake it seems!) and my number has been temporarily ported to them. I have requested PAC code but they keep saying they are having technical issues. I just want to move back to EE. Is there anything else I can do and has anyone else had this nightmare of a problem?

You did the right thing but if O2 are having technical difficulties with issuing PACs you'll just have to wait for them to sort it out. There's nowt EE can do for it.
