Change from monthly plan to contract

Shofo877

Hi all,

I renew my package monthly however I've tried to change it to a contract keeping my current number but couldn't.

How to change my plan to a monthly contract without changing my number?

Hi @Shofo877

Conceptually, there's no such thing as renewing your package monthly. All EE pay-monthly plans - be they SIM-only or device-based - are rolling contracts with 30day notice periods. Many have minimum contractual terms of 2 years.

If you're not on pay-monthly then you have a PAYG account, which is not a contract in the same way.

I suspect what you may have, is a PAYG plan with a recurring add-on pack of some kind.

If that is the case, then I'd recommend reading up on EE's switch to pay-monthly service.

When you say you are on a monthly plan do you mean you are on PAYG with recurring monthly (really 30-day) top-ups?
