Can’t link my mobile router to tv

I am In a caravan. Have unlimited data package on my EE 4G mobile router. Tried to link to the TV but it keeps saying ‘authorisation failed’. The router is working as I can use it on my phone. Can anyone help?

I hope you're well and having a nice time at the caravan, other than this issue of course. 

 

When you try to connect your TV, does it ask you for a password to connect?

Thanks Chris. Yes. I find the router name, enter the password. It says wait for a few seconds then says authorisation not successful.

Are you sure you're using the correct password? It's possible there are multiple networks around you as well, make sure you're using the correct SSID

Could you try reset the network settings on your TV? Does your TV connect to you mobile phones Hotspot feature, just to rule that out.

 

If the mobile router has an Ethernet port on it, can you try connect via a cable?
