My broadband has been down since about 10pm. First time this has ever happened! Router restart not helping, checked cables, run smart hub checks. Still not working, have flashing aqua lights. Pretty much certain it is a problem outside of my house. How can I find service status to see if it's a known issue? The one I find on EE website is for mobile phone service, not home broadband...
Thanks!

So some of the suggestions at the below link help? I might guess that things are not routinely fixed at this time of the day unless contracted to do so or engineers happen to be standing by.

There are not many sites that give any detail on outages on phone or broadband, unless it is something major. BT have one, but you need to be a BT customer to get any useful info.
However, Zen do more than any other ISP on this issue, have you looked on their Zen Status ?
If its not working in the morning give EE a call and report the fault.

Thanks. I had already tried everything in that list I think!
Fortunately it has just come back on. Clearly an issue outside of my house, that was fixed, but I am a bit shocked to see that there is no simple service status checker, unless I am missing it...
Also a bit poor that the fault reporting by text, which I tried to use, does not work if you have a mobile phone that will not send SMS to short code numbers (which I do)...
Pretty annoying to lose service for 2 hours on a Friday night when I was on a call with mates and others in my household were trying to watch stuff etc. First world problems and all, but having never had issues before, it is a bit disappointing!

If it is a neighbourhood issue, you could consult BT Service Status to see if any faults are being have been attended to in your local area.
There is no fault reporting by text for BB, only mobile.
