I see EE are offering a Huawei CPE Pro with 1TB data for £70 per month and £100 upfront.
There's also an unlimited phone SIM for £37 per month so what's to stop me buying the Huawei myself for £400 and putting a phone SIM in it?
Total cost over 24 months £1288 instead of £1780. Is this allowed? I see a few threads about 4G data SIMs being ok in routers but what about 5G phone SIMs?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.
