4g Mobile sim in a 4g Router ?

Hi,

I'm sure this question may have been asked a million times before.

Due to living in a rural location my only internet option is 4g as no wired connection available. 

Only EE offer a good enough 4g broadband coverage, who I have been with for nearly 18 months, current contact due to expire next month (March 2021).

I'm currently paying £41 per month for 200gb limit, and often go over that as virtually everything goes through it (Netflix, Amazon Prime, BT Sports etc etc).

Is getting an EE Sim only 4g mobile plan (unlimited data @ £37 a month) an option ?

Would it work in the EE 4g router ?

Would EE allow it ?

Of course. Any EE SIM will work in a 4G-mobile router.

My other question would be, although the EE 4g Mobile Sim plan is technically classed as unlimited, I would imagine the average user would only get through approx 20gb-30gb at most per month.

My broadband data usage will be in the region of "200gb-250gb" per month, so roughly 10 times the average amount used on a mobile.

As the data usage going through my router would be much higher than going through a mobile, is the download speed likely to be restricted ?

Currently on a good day I can hit 60mbps-100mbps, which I think is pretty good via a 4g router.

There are FUPs for personal use only on the unlimited data phone SIMs of 600GB pm total usage & no more than 11 devices regularly served by the router.
