Hi - I currently have 300mbps Full Fibre from EE which works well.  However Openreach say the line can go up to 1Gbps but EE will not let me order a 900mpbs conenction and the BT Wholesale DSL Checker says the line only goes to 330mbps.  Any ide why the discrepancy between Openreach and BT Wholesale?

If you post the results of the BTW DLS checker we may be able to help explain more.

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker, not the Postcode Checker.

Thanks folks - screen show of the DSL checker attached.  We no longer have any copper into the property so no landline.  I transferred our old landline number a few months ago to a hosted VOIP service which works very well if you need to retain your number for any reason.

Thanks again

Hmm, it looks like the BTW checker has not been updated, or perhaps there is some restriction with local equipment with higher speeds not available.

Do you get the same if you try and order from BT or any other ISP?

Yes all seem the same - BT says it's available but when you select in the order process just kicks you out but will let you through with a 300 order.  The same seems to other properties locally - annoying when the Openreach site shows up to 1000 should be availble.

Looks like only about 330 Meg FTTP is available there at the mo'. It's BT Wholesale who sells & makes it available to ISPs, not OR. So if 1000 Meg has been laid on by OR, BTw hasn't yet released it to ISPs.

Thanks for your help - sit and wait then.  300mbps still transformational from where we were before so I can't really complain!

It will be awaiting equipment upgrade at the headend. It is only a very small number of headends that need this, unfortunately you are on one of them.

BTW before you ask there is no timeline for this, the priority is the FTTP rollout.
