Flex Beats earphones not staying connected to my phone

Hi there, I purchased beats flex wireless headphones, they are connecting to my phone sometimes but disconnects after a few minutes. Also if you touch the volume button it disconnects and sometimes it tells you they are connected but they aren’t.  I have tried resetting them but the problem are still ongoing

I've always got some headphone or earphone blasting the tunes, so I totally get how important it is that this gets sorted.

 

A lot of the time issues like this will be fixed with a software update, do you have the latest software downloaded and installed on your handset?

Could you try telling your phone to forget the headphones and delete them from your Bluetooth device list. Then reconnect them again as if it's the first time you've connected them?

 

Once you've done that try using them for a little bit and let me know if they have the same problems.

We’ve tried that a few times now and still getting the same issue. I’ve also tried using them on my partner’s phone and still disconnecting.

Could I just check how long you've had the earphones?

Is it also possible to try connecting to a different device? Seeing if it happens on another phone should say whether the problem is the earphones or phone.

@Gillian1978   Have you checked to make sure the firmware on the headphones is up to date ?  Please read THIS

Tried that- tried by partners iPhone, iPad and the TV all kept disconnecting
