£10 PAYG SIM - Zero balance

Hello,

Today, I bought a £10 PAYG SIM that cost £10.99 from Tesco.

I've registered it on MyEE, but the balance is £0.00.

Where is my £10.00 credit?

I can see this very question has been asked multiple times, but no satisfactory answer has been given.

There's conflicting or confusing informaiton on the SIMs packaging and on the EE website.

Tesco gave me an EE E-Voucher, (printed on receipts paper) which I assume I have to enter somehwere, but all the EE website will take is a credit card number.

The SIM packaging says:

LET'S GET STARTED

1 - Pop your new SIM into your phone

2 - Pay £10 for this selected pack (already paid £10 in the shop)

3 - Call, text or use data to start your pack (Tried calling a number and the EE operator cuts in saying my balance is £0.00 and I need to top up)

I only need this SIM for emergencies, making calls only. I don't know what these "packs" are, and I don't care. I am only interested in making calls and maybe the odd text.

I tried calling EE, but ofcourse, they're closed.

If anyone can tell me what I need to do to get this £10.00 "loaded" on the phone, I'd be grateful.

@woter324  Every you need is within the information that’s with the sim. But please read this

To top up your account with an E-voucher, send a text to 150 with VO, followed by a space and the 16-digit voucher number. You may also call 150 from your EE phone and follow the instructions. E top-up cards are 13-digit cards that come with your EE sim card.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

To top up your own number:

Text 150 with VO then a space and then the 16-digit voucher number,

e.g VO 1234567891234567

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

Hi @S_ibrahim5511

I hope you're well and having a nice day, other than this issue of course.

I know this is super simple but could you please try restarting the phone and let me know if the data then work?

Thanks

Chris
