iPad cellular not working

My daughter has an iPad Air 2020 with a data sim which I gift data to monthly. All of a sudden her iPad isn’t working without WiFi. I’ve tried restarting the iPad etc but still no joy! Any ideas?

yes she still has just over 8GB remaining
