Sim for Cellular iPad

Can you use a standard EE phone eSIM, which includes calls and texts, in a cellular iPad?

I understand that the iPad won't support making or receiving regular phone calls, but these SIM plans are often cheaper than data-only plans.

Welcome to the community,

Of course you can make and receive regular calls and receive text from your IPzd, and yes you can have a regular ESim, just ring customer service and they can let you know what one you wish to have. I actually have made sure that I have shared the number from my IPhone so as to receive calls, but also now have a regular ESim, which would allow calls and text, but choose to use the one from my phone.
