There is no sound when whatever show we're watching comes back after the adverts. Any ideas why? Thanks

Hey, I was assured we had a fix for this in the recent software release 😫

I've engaged our engineering colleagues who can also see the problem so I'm not quite sure what has happened here just yet.

I'm really sorry that we are having continued issues with this, will give you a proper update soon as I have more specific details.

Hi all, I have an update for you.

The software build which contained the fix for the issue hasn't made it out to production builds that you're all using on your TV boxes because during testing we noticed another problem.

We couldn't go live with that problem as it was service affecting so we're busy fixing that before we release the fix.

The fix build coming has a lot of other service improvements so we're really focused on getting it out here, I wish it was faster but it is what it is.

The fix will now be landing in an April roll-out.

Sorry for the continued problems, but I will remain committed to keeping you updated.

Thanx for the heads up

Hi, I have had this issue since last summer after the transfer BT-EE including other channels at the time. I spoke to EE every few weeks yet no-one admitted anything about this issue. After spending a lot of money on kit overhaul and changes I have just seen this group and called EE yet again. Finally they have admitted it as an issue which is being repaired. It is still an issue with some customers and they advised that they now hope to have it resolved in April. Apparently a new box won't fix it.

@How4 A new big won't fix it because the issue is with the software. All of us have it. We all suspect the issue is with the Discovery+ app rather than the EETV box software...

Of course, before autocorrect, it would have said "A new box..." 🙄

@SoupDragon57

We guest that…😛

Just switched from Sky to EE and also suffer with this issue.

@RogerRob

The fix for this is known, and you need to wait for EETV to install it.

There is nothing you can do to fix it at your end, except various temporaryworkarounds 😢
