There is no sound when whatever show we're watching comes back after the adverts. Any ideas why? Thanks

Hi All, we needed a little more time to gather some data before we pushed the new software version to you all, therefore we delayed the roll out. Hopeful you will still get it this week, should be overnight tonight.
We gather adequate amounts of data during pilot to be confident the software version is stable, appreciate the wait 😊.

Does the dropout occur on Discovery+? This is the only channel it happens on. It's more of an intermittent fault. It plays great for a while, then it starts to go off.
Thank you for posting. We'll just keep on at them.

Well this thread is specially about the issue where the audio drops out after the program returns from adverts. Not sure if you are describing the same issue!
However yes it is discovery+ and if you are asking if it’s now fixed then I can only say that I’ve just got through the first set of adverts in a program without the audio drop out, but as you said, it’s intermittent.
Time will tell.

Thanks for the update here @PaulB2005.
Please keep us posted on how things go following your update, and I'm glad to hear that it's so far so good.
This update is rolled out gradually over a couple of days, so if any other customers are still seeing issues I would definitely recommend checking the software version in settings to see if it matches 0.13.26.

I'm on 0.13.26. Was watching a programme on Discovery+ last night with no issues after ad breaks. We'll keep an eye on it but indications are positive so far...

Hi, The drop-out has been common on Discovery+ and was initially intermittent. The fix has just been rolled out. However this was a problem last year on a lot of channels on my system. I need to re-attach the Denon sound system via optical and see if it keeps happening on this. It's been 12 months now since being forced onto EE from BT. Totally unacceptable.

I think it’s been mentioned before that the issues you’re experiencing sound more like an equipment issue, such as a faulty cable, amp, box, TV etc. than the one this thread is discussing.
I don’t recall anyone else in this thread mentioning the audio dropout with any other channel and that it always happens exclusively straight after adverts on D+, indicates this fix is just for that specific issue.

@PaulB2005 This has been confirmed as a software issue in relation to the Discovery+ app on the EETV box. We're all just hoping the latest software had fixed it.
